USE CASE
Dentists in Germany are looking for the cheapest OFFERS when they want to buy new instruments, devices or investment goods. The process to buy them is very complicated and time-intensive.
Dental Devices or investment goods are highly priced products in a price range from 1.000€ to more then 100.000€. Dentist is usually contacting (email, phone call) 3 different dealers in the area to get the offer. Afterwards, each dealer will send a sales representative directly to the dentist’s office. It means, the dentist needs about 1 hour to collect all the information to send an inquiry and 3 more hours to speak with dealer’s sales representatives. Offers will come in 7-10 days. Finally, the dentist can compare them and place an order. |
SOLUTION
It was a hard work to go through all sections of user centred design, but if you want to build something great and be sure it will be DESIRABLE, USABLE and USEFUL for your customers then you have to try hard.
So, the final solution (after 3 design iterations) was an online platform for dentists and dealers. And this solution is called ROLF. How is ROLF working?
